L1000 is point-to-point wireless communication system capable of transporting up to 1.5 Gbps of full duplex traffic. It was introduced by Loea to address the needs of short range deployments, ranging from about 1 km to 2 km, with carrier class weather availability.

A Layer 1 wireless product, the L1000 has the ability to transmit data at rates ranging from 45Mbps to 1.5Gbps. This unique feature makes it protocol agnostic, making it compatible with transmission rates of a wide range of standards such as SONET, Ethernet, Fibre Channel and many other protocols.
Licensed Spectrum
L1000 uses 71-76 GHz and 81-86 GHz spectrum, licensed bands with a very simple and low cost licensing process.
Highly Reliable
L1000 achieves carrier class link reliability with 99.999% weather availability for most common deployments it is targeted for.
Extremely Low Latency
L1000 is a Layer 1 product with no intrinsic data processing delays, maintaining the system latency to less than 10 ns.
Out of Band Management
The L1000 includes an out-of-band management interface. This capability has the benefit of keeping the management and data channels separate, often desirable for security purposes.
Small Form Factor
Its unique design deviates from industry tradition with the combination of a lens and cylindrical structure, allowing the L1000 to achieve smaller form factor with an esthetically pleasing non-obtrusive antenna.
Ease of Deployment
Due to its lightweight and small form factor, simple mounting hardware, intuitive interfaces and attached spotting scope, L1000 is easy to deploy, often taking less than an hour.
