LOEA APPOINTS NEW VICE PRESIDENT FROM WITHIN AFTER YEARLONG SUCCESS GENERATING SALES & NEW GIG E PRODUCTS

(Honolulu, Hawaii)  Loea Corporation today appointed Eduardo Tinoco to Vice President of Engineering and Business Development.  Tinoco has for the past year led the development of Loea’s new products including Loea’s recently released L2800 radio, a wireless long-range easy-to-deploy link capable of being aligned within minutes.  

Tinoco joined Loea in 2006 after working for two years at Loea’s parent company, Trex Enterprises Corporation.  Tinoco has managed multiple projects for Loea in his previous position as Director of Engineering, and has overseen the development of three new Loea products within a year.  Tinoco, who holds a degree in electrical engineering from San Jose State, joined Trex  and  Loea after nearly a decade of working in Silicon Valley at various telecommunications companies.

Loea’s newest product, the L2800 wireless radio, can transmit data, voice and video up to nearly 5 miles through rain, fog, snow, smoke and sand storms.

The Loea 2500 is still available for sale and is excellent for short distances of up to 2 miles.   In June 2006, Loea was granted its second patent for cellular backhaul and is unique in its capability to fill this need using wireless millimeter-wave radios.
